10 ways to love: Speak without accusing

Speak without accusing

“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,“

‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭19‬ ‭

The next way to love is to speak without accusing. Pointing fingers and using accusatory language will only steer you away from Godly love. Instead if we long to show and share the love of Christ, we need to display patience while being slow to anger.

Here are my questions for you:
Do you listen to people and allow them to talk before giving a response?
When was the last time you were intentionally listening?

Friends, although at times it may really be difficult to hold our tongue and listen but truly when we speak with love instead of hate, we share the Love of Jesus. As we should long to do. So save the judgment, and accusations and trade them out for love, peace and joy.

My challenge for you this week is to be quick to listen and slow to anger. Enjoy this week!
