Week 6: Goodness

Goodness is revealed in the Bible multiple times, but more specifically about God’s goodness. A popular Christian song (Goodness of God) sings about it and in this song, a few lines specifically stand out to me “I love you Lord. For your mercies never fail me. All my days, I’ve been held in your hands.”

This line is key because it shows the ultimate truth and GOODNESS of God. He has never once left our side, and every day His mercies are new and never fail.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22-23

God’s goodness was shown by the beautiful creation He created, the raising of the dead and so many more miracles. He shows His love through his goodness.
Have you accepted His goodness?

Live in the Goodness of God.

God calls us to be obedient. He wants us to follow him because he has an amazing plan for us. He doesn’t just send us on our way though. He goes through to highs and the lows. He leads us, hold our hands during all things and helps you.

God ultimately is always there waiting for you to respond to him. God is waiting for you to call out on him. He invites us to come to him, we just have to take the invitation. “Obedience” as Krish Dhanam says

• Learning your place 
• Leaning on grace
• Leading your space

We need to know that following God isn’t easy, but God is always there. God gives us endless grace, but we can not abuse his grace. We are also called to be leaders and lead in the way that Jesus would lead.

“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬ ‭
