Week Eight: Gentleness

How does Jesus show gentleness?

God is a gentle God and he cares for you. Matthew 11:28-30 says ““Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Things like ranting to someone or talking about struggles to someone is great. It feels good, but is it fully satisfying? God is the only one that can truly give you full rest. We often feel like reading our bibles can be a task or chore that has a “must” to it. But we then forget how beautiful reading your Bible can be. That’s is Gods way if speaking to us. So to get full rest, we must go to God as our first resource. Happy Tuesday!
