God Is... Omnipresent

God Is... Omnipresent

God is omnipresent. This means God is present everywhere at the same time. He is not confined to the concepts of time and space like us humans are.

What does this mean for us? Firstly, we can praise Him! We can praise Him for how big and powerful He is. We can praise Him for being outside the concepts we are confined to. We can destroy the box we so often put Him in when we remember that there is no box that could possibly confine Him.

Secondly, we can trust Him. He can see you when you were a toddler, He can see where you're at right now, AND He can see where you'll be in a year, 5, even 10 years from now. He already knows your entire story, so take His hand and let Him lead as you walk this journey together.

Third and most importantly, we can recognize His presence with us in this very moment. God's Spirit is quite literally with you right now. How amazing is it that you are always in the presence of God. When we recognize that, we are better able to bring Him glory and honor in what we're doing. His work in our lives and the lives of those around us can become bigger.

I encourage you to spend time intentionally recognizing God's presence this week. Soak it in right away after waking up before you start your day. Soak it in at lunch when you get a moment to sit down. Soak it in when you sit down before eating dinner with your family. Soak in His presence before you go to bed. Be intentional and watch what God will do with your obedience.

“Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139‬:‭7‬-‭10‬
