God Is… Truth
The next part of our series is…God is truth. God is the source of truth, he represents the truth and he is the only truth.
“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
God is the source of truth. How often are we looking at our life or a situation in life that you just cannot figure out. The devil tells us lie after lie, but God combats that with the truth. When we are struggling, run to the word of God and let him work through you.
Jesus embodies truth. He does not stand for the lies of the devil. He does not let us live in the fear and worry and anxiety of the devil. It is not our truth that matters but THE truth that matters.
“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
God is the only truth. The truth is seen in the gospel. We are drawn to sin and that separates us from him. However, Jesus loved us so much that he sent his one and only son down on earth to save us. It is up to us to choose if we trust in him.
