God is… Eternal

God is… Eternal

Welcome back SheBrews family!

This week, as we enter our last week of the “God Is…” series, we find it fitting to study the aspect of God that is eternity. God is eternal. What comes to your mind when you hear this? How can we ever comprehend eternity? The truth is that we were never meant to comprehend it.

2 Corinthians 4:18 touches on how we should live with this in mind. At many times we find life to be draining, and daunting living each day as monotone as the last. Paul tells us to “Fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” Time is fleeting. When we place our hope and fix our eyes in the one who is eternal, we possess a living hope that can never be taken away from us. So what does God’s eternity mean for us in our daily lives? It means we can go through the thick and thin, with a hope that will never rot or spoil. If the God of the universe can take care of the worms on the ground, He too, can take care of us.

Live each day walking with the God of eternity. Set your eyes on the one who will never fade away. Rest in that truth today!

See you next week!
